Service Description

Basic Service:
EventMaker is unique online software that enables the user to manage the planning, web advertising, online registration, and registration administration for conferences, meetings, or events. Through a simple, online interface, the user can generate a website advertising their event, including a customizable secure online registration form. The user can edit the website online, at any time, and the changes are immediately visible online. The registration administrator also has complete access to the data through a customizable, password-protected, online interface, as well as downloading capabilities.

EventMaker allows the user to create their own sites, in real-time, through an on-line interface without ever touching anything except their browser. eventMaker offers the following features

  • Online website creation, including database back-end
  • Real-time website updates
  • Real-time registration data access
  • Intelligent, standardized registration administration
  • Multiple website generation
  • Ease of use
  • No limit to number of attendees
  • Automatic email notification of registration
  • Download of database (MS Access) with embedded macros for name tent and badge printing
Every aspect of this application can be customized to the user's needs, and once the initial customization set-up has been accomplished, the user can generate an unlimited number of websites without any further interaction with the eventMaker staff.

The usage fee will be charged for each web site created (duration restricted to 6 months or less). The total cost is determined by the number of registrants ($5 / conference registrant). Special arrangements can be made to retain web sites for longer than 6 months, but the price will be quoted at the time of the request.

Initialization Fee:
A one time service initialization fee will be charged to the customer to cover the costs of setup. The fee would be dependent on the number of administrators (or users) that would be permitted to set up conference web sites. Upon receipt of the initialization fee, the eventMaker staff will:
  • Assign special password(s) and access conditions for each administrator
  • Set up an instance of the software in their own virtual subdirectory
  • Create a database and populate with VBA macros
  • Work with the client in uploading commonly used logos and graphics
  • Set up accounting system with billing information / point of contact
The initialization fee will depend on the number of conference administrators given access authority (number of userids). The initialization fee is listed in the table below:

Technical Support: Once the service has been initialized, an email message will be sent to the identified administrators and customer point of contact. Once activated, the customer is entitled to 45 days of free technical support. During these 45 days, customers will have access to no-charge assisted Technical Support via web and phone (phone toll-charges may apply). Technical Support hours will be from 9 am to 5pm, EST Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.

Online technical support provides users the ability to submit no-charge support incidents any time day or night. Web incidents are answered within one business day of submission during technical support hours. Both web and phone assisted technical support is handled by support professionals who understand consumers, their support needs, and provide plain-language directions.

After this period, fee-based technical support (Web & Phone) is available. The fee will be a minimum charge of $100 per incident. Support requiring greater than one hour of time will be charged at a rate of $200/hour.

Technical support includes:
  • Use of online and phone technical support to communicate with SA technical staff
  • Address questions and provide assistance to the clients on the use / functionality of the tool.
  • Technical and programmatic advice on setting up conference web site.
  • Address questions and provide assistance on use / functionality of MS Access database
Technical support does not include:
  • Web site design, creation, editing, or customization.
  • Document conversion
  • Graphics support (design, creation, editing, translation, etc of electronic images)
  • Software development (either on the web site or in MS Access Database)

Advanced Services:

On-Line Credit Card Processing: On-line credit card processing is available. This function will give the client the capability to verify and process credit card information online at the time of registration. The fee for using this service will be 5% of the total transaction cost.

Graphics: Our web graphics designers create world-class layouts and themes for organization web sites. Working with the client, the designer will develop graphics that correspond to the site topic, and will create a site that appropriately represents the desired theme. Graphics design includes color choices, location and arrangement of items on the screen for visual appeal as well as steering a viewer towards specific choices on the screen. The price is determined on time and materials basis (fee is $200/hour)

Web Design: If more complex web sites are required, let our web development team help if designing and developing your web site. Our web development team is comprised of Web Programmers, Web Graphics Designers, and Webmasters. Our web programming staff has significant expertise in creating and maintaining web sites based upon given designs. Through use of currently available technologies, our web development staff construct web sites that allow remote access to databases, document storage and retrieval, and site customization based upon visitor preferences. Our staff has highly developed skills in HTML, CGI, Perl, Javascript, and ASP. Web design work is a fee based service for $200/hour.

IT Consulting (Magnetic Stripe and Smart Card Applications): Strategic Analysis, Inc. and its commercial subsidiary, Smart Dynamics LLC, have substantial experience and expertise in developing card-based (magnetic stripe and smart cards) applications for both government and commercial clients. Our software engineering staff is familiar with and follows a phased software development life cycle when managing and developing software projects. A software engineering process improvement effort is underway to mature Strategic Analysis, Inc.'s process and process assets to meet the goals prescribed the Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model (CMM). IT consulting work is a fee based service for $200/hour.
